1902 Wright & Ditson BABY Golf Ball - Pat. Ap 11-99 - Very Good Condition
With exceptional paint coverage of white and red, "W&D Baby" on one pole and "Pat Ap 11-99" on the other pop and benefit from the vibrant original paint still intact. This turn-of-the-century ball is difficult to track down, as publications often omit the listing of it due to lack of knowledge. Presented here is a fine example of this ball, grading "very good condition", with only a small irregularity in the spherical shape that can be seen in picture four.
Wright & Ditson was founded in 1871, with the company entering the sporting equipment industry in the sports of tennis, baseball and of course golf. It quickly became an industry leader in these fields, known for their high quality products. Their golf clubs and balls are some of the earliest that were produced in the United States of America.
