1899 Bushey Hall Golf Club Open Meetings to Entrants Letter - June 2nd

Bushey Hall Golf Club represents one of the most historic clubs in the London area. They were, and are still, known for their longstanding clubhouse and woodlands surrounding it. This letter goes into detail of the particulars of a recent 'Open Meeting' that Bushey Hall Golf Club held speaking upon an upcoming tournament to be played at the club. This letter's longtime owner was Otto Probst was the founder of the Probst library, which held the title of the world's largest and most comprehensive golf library to the public. This library included additions from Cecil Hopkinson, a renowned collector that Otto Probst himself looked up to. Towards the latter years of Probst's life The PGA of America organization aided in managing the very large collection of publications dating back to the 1500s. The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, along with Royal Blackheath Golf Club and the Royal Burgess Golfing Society of Edinburgh, were some of the golf clubs that were of the highest interest to Probst, reflected in his library. This piece will come with a signed letter from Historian Bob Denney of the PGA, proclaiming that this item comes from their collection.

This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, July 21st with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
