1899 Allston GC Best Gross Score Reed & Barton Pewter Golf Trophy Won by George A. Sprag
A Reed & Barton pewter golf trophy tankard is offered here for bidders. The glass-bottomed trophy comes from the 1899 Allston Golf Club for the best gross score. There is a dent to the bottom of the tankard, please see photographs. The Allston Golf Club was founded in the 1890's and did not stay long as the property was turned into Braves Field in 1915, home of the National League's Boston Braves until 1952.

All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (up to 9pm EST, then will adjust to 5min time period). There is a buyer's premium of 17.5% for all items. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
